Beautiful. I’m jealous! I went to England and Scotland earlier this year before carona shut down everything. Both were lovely; I’ve never been, but I have the sense that Wales is super underrated.

I’m super jealous. I had a trip planned for April that would have given me a day in Caernarfon, among other castles in England and Wales. I don’t know when or if I’ll make it there now.

Ha, we live less than 5 miles away. We have stayed within the rules more or less. Dunno if that makes a difference though. I’ll be pretty pissed if it all blows over and I’ve not had a summertime beer.

Now that’s a castle. Not a namby pamby stately home with a few turrets. A ‘locals just wont stop rebelling’ castle. A ‘we’ve got to cut a highway through the forest around snowdonia to stop the ambushes’ castle.

This is the castle where they do the investiture of the Prince of Wales isn’t it?
