A historic grade II listed Victorian water tower converted into a single family home with 5.3m high full height sliding doors covering the cube extension, Kennington, London, UK [2880×4320]
Absolutely stunning. It’s great to see people use existing structures and give them a new lease of life.

This was one of my favourite Grand Designs episodes ever. The view from that top room is amazing!

Ugly.

I like it. It is a good mix of style. The 5.3m door opening both room seems unnecessary & unpractical though, especially with UK’s weather.
It would be neat in spain.

What an absolute monstrosity.

I like the majority of it, but that modern cladding around the top floor just doesn’t blend in well

The lift shaft irks me everytime I see this, like it or not the rest of the building is immensely interesting whilst the lift just sticks out like a sore thumb to me, wish they’d continued the brick stripe or recreated the traditional detailing from the tower.
