People can, of course, call things anything they want. But “cube in a forest filled with minimalist nordic furniture” will never equal “cabin” to me.

I love this style of cabin. The point of a cabin is to connect with nature. This style of cabin is low impact and has tons of windows which is the whole point.

This “cabin” also has simplicity and efficiency in its construction. That is a main part of what log cabins were about. Functionality is an important core part of what cabins are about. This is a modern take on that.
Plus it really makes one a part of nature with good window views. A great place to get cozy while enjoying outdoor views.
