This is the house painting equivalent of a rockstar buying a classic car and giving it a drunken home depot rattle can paint job in his back yard for no other reason than "fuck you and your conventions"

But hey this is an architecture sub, right? So lets actually talk about WHY we think it looks good or bad.

Personally, I’m amused by it and happy someone else did it. The world would be boring without these kind of people. But I also hate what they’ve done here, I think it’s outrageous. I think that painting houses from this era with lighter and/or contrasting colors showcases the finer details that define these buildings architecturally. Imagine this building in pastels, or just any color + white, it would be gorgeous.
